UNITED WE LUNCH EVENT

In November we hosted an educational PD Day Event at the QYC Fun Factory where kids and parents got to learn about food insecurity while participating in fun, educational, and impactful activities.

Jackie Ralph of CAMH presented at the event leading a puppet show to help kids learn about empathy around food insecurity.

To ensure the discussions about empathy and food insecurity didn’t end at the event, we sent each child home with a branded brown bag packed with activities and goodies so the conversation could continue long after the day was over.
